Orphans and widows, among the most vulnerable populations in Gaza, are facing dire food shortages due to the current emergency. Your support enables us to deliver essential food packages to them, ensuring they have one of the most basic, yet critical, needs met during these trying times.

How Your Contribution Transforms Lives

Every donation, regardless of size, has a significant impact:

Can ensure that a widow and her children receive nourishment for an entire month.

Can ensure that three widowed families have enough food for at least one month.

Can deliver six month’s worth of food packages for a family of five

FAQs

Q: How does OINUSA get aid into Gaza?
A: Orphans in Need has over a decade’s worth of experience in delivering aid in Gaza. We have always been able to provide support regardless of the situation, and we continue to support our orphans and widows.

Gaza urgently needs food, water, and medical aid — however, due to the current escalation in violence and a blockade of the Gaza Strip, getting aid into Gaza has been disrupted.

Our team in Gaza is personally overseeing our response to this crisis to the best of our abilities. We are still distributing food as we are utilizing existing stocks of food items on a pre-approved credit basis. However, these stocks won’t last for long and we are awaiting the humanitarian borders to open up.

Q: Will my food package donation directly reach Gaza?
A: Yes, if you opt for this at the time of your donation.
Q: What is OINUSA's admin fee?
A: We are not taking any admin fees for this emergency — 100% of the funds raised will go towards Gaza programs to support widows and orphans in need.
Q: Can I receive feedback for my sponsored orphan in Palestine?
A: Due to the emergency situation on the ground, we are unable to gather 1-2-1 feedback, but we continue to maintain daily contact with our colleagues in Gaza about the welfare and whereabouts of our children and widows. We will provide immediate feedback to all donors as soon as we can.
Q: Who does OINUSA collaborate with locally?
A: Our team partners with distinguished local and international organizations recognized by the UN. This is crucial in order for us to obtain and further provide necessary supplies, resources, and services to those in need.
